• Plant in spring or fall for best root development.

• Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep.

• Water deeply once or twice a week, especially during the first year.

• Choose a location with the right sun exposure (check plant tags).

• Add compost or soil conditioner for better drainage and nutrients.

• Deadhead blooms to encourage more flowering.
